Not a fan of coq au vin. All the flavors get muddied for me.

Wife made Beet and Rice burgers last night with fries and broccoli. I think I ate a half a pound of broccoli.

I just checked out your link and it looks delicious. I would assume Tinker did a horrible job preparing it. Prolly was lazy and tried a few shortcuts.

My wife made it based on Julia Child's recipe. I would try it again with a better red wine, but stewed chicken meat in wine is just not a texture I'm fond of. Replace the chicken with a rump roast, and now you're talking.

The Beat and Rice burgers are fine if you don't treat them like burgers. They taste like brown rice balls with walnuts mixed in. Wife served it with goat cheese (another thing I'm not fond of).

I make a pretty mean home made Caesar salad. I made a batch last night.

I used to make it table-side when I waited tables at a fine-dining restaurant in the late 80's.

You should make it for your wife. Use a decent bottle of wine though.

Just ask the liquor store guy for a decent burgundy to make coq au vin it gives you the opportunity to say coq in a public place.

I once went through the Burger King drive through and asked for the chicken parm vagina.

The female attendant did not think it was funny.

My kids are hooked on ranch dressing. They dip everything in Ranch. Pizza, chicken tenders, burritos. Now I'm hooked too!

    Ranch. The alternative to ketchup!
