Tried out General Tso's chicken from scratch last night following the recipe Pag posted months ago (I think it was Pags).

Very good stuff. Here's the link again to the recipe. http://theculinarycouple.com/2011/06...-tsos-chicken/

That sounds really good. How long was your prep and cook time? I'd like to make that.

I fasted all day yesterday and had Brats for dinner last night. I'll be posting pictures shortly of tonight's dinner.

Let myself get too busy yesterday. Technically it wasn't a fast since I had a banana.

About an hour. Next time I'll cook the chicken in a bigger pan. I had to cook it in three batches which added to the time.

    The sauce is amazing.

Cooked a Pork Tenderloin with a southwest rub on it in the oven, and had some rice with it.

    Turned out pretty good.

Anyone interested, rub (I make a bunch and save it for next time):
    2 TBSP Chili Podwer
    2 TBSP Hot Chili Powder
    2 TBSP Garlic
    1 TBSP Onion Powder
    1 TBSP Cumin
1 TBSP Pepper (I have one of those peppercorn medley grinders)
    1 TSP Cayenne Pepper
    1 TSP Smoked Paprika
1 TSP Salt (actually a little less than a TSP)
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

The pork shoulder was excellent. The ribs were fall off the bone even though I cooked them an hour longer than they needed. I love bbq.
