Thought of this after hearing people talking about how Tebow didn't have coaching through the offseason to work on his footwork.

I heard from posters at the CBMB who have been to watch Bears TC, say that Cutler has come to Camp noticably trimmer.
They also are saying that he and Roy Williams are hitting it off. Cutler is hitting him all over the field in 7 on 7's at a near perfect rate.
But it all comes down to the offensive line. I am not worried about the skill positions, I am not worried about special teams, or the defense. But I am scared shytless about the offensive line.
Glad to hear it.
And I hope jay go that pesky menicuos healed
Up
Good job Jay, hopefully they fix your Oline problems although you lost one guy already.
I wish him well. Stay away from the bad pick and you will have a very good season IMO. A good defense always helps.
IMO, Jay is physically the most talented QB in the league. Once he grows up,
look out! Hopefully, he has, because I'm a fan of his (except I would like to see
temporary collapses in his games against Denver and Green Bay).

I wouldn't be worried about his footwork...
Honestly, he might have stopped drinking and lost weight. If so, look out, the drunk diabetic routine was holding him back.
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
The QB positions is a cerebral one, not a physical one. You don't have to look past guys like Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and tom Brady to see that.
As far as Cutler goes, I think he's fine. Chicago needs to be concerned with that dreaded oline and getting Cutler some help at the skill specific positions.
Why is Martz changing his mechanics? Footwork is one thing, but why would you change his body position? That "balance" thing is absurd. Cutler showed regression tonight, and it wasn't his offensive line. It looked more to me like he was thinking about "balance" than delivering the ball, and he was not good at all. The throws even looked weak, despite what John Gruden said.
His "balance" was never the problem, it was his mindset...adding to his mental thoughts during the process won't help him...
Already making excuses for him I see.
MO, everyone knows you love Cutty almost as much as clay does, ya partisan little shit. . . .
