    I'm sure Ayers got some sort of endorsement deal from Reebok (or it could roll up under their league sponsorship) where they don't want to eat the money on all the unsold #56 Ayers jerseys...

    Still doesnt make sense. If a superstar from another team that wore 56 came to Denver, o have a hard time believing theyd tell,him he couldnt have his number because Ayers was tied to it

    Well, if it were a superstar Reebok would probably stand to make the money up on new jersey sales. But that is all speculation on my part. I can't imagine any other reason Reebok would have a problem other than jersey sales.

    According to the home site, Ayers was back to wearing #56 at the evening practice. DC is on point.

    Seeing Von Miller in 58 is going to take some getting used to. Im trying to think of any great LBs who wore 58. I wish they would let him have 40.
