Default So I bit the bullet and finally went in to see the doctor.

I have been coughing up blood for about 3 weeks now, but its progressively gotten worse. To the point that i was always tired, sick and grumpy. If you all remember from the last thread i made about the doctor regarding my wife, you will recall we had a bill of $16k.....As we dont have insurance.

But i had to go in and................

I have PMNEMONIA! yay. Thats just wonderful. Good news is, they didnt have to run tests on me, as they could hear the "gurgle" in my breathing. So it only cost me $125.

I am just thrilled. Now i have to take azithromycen, some oral steriods, cough suppresant, and musinex.

Seriously, who would have thought that you would need to take all that crap for pnemonia. And who would have thought that a simple cold/cough would turn into it..... Besides feeling weird from the medicine this really blows my mind.....

Shout out to all those with pnemonia, or to those who have had it. May we bond together.

I though pnemonia was only for old people.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Underrated, I hope you'll have a swift recovery. I've been sick the past week and I finally feel about 80% today. Keep well man and take it easy.

pneumonia can kill - usually not someone your age but if left untreated can hospitalize anyone

why are men so stubborn when it comes to going to the doctor (i will ask MO)

    Quick recovery u29

Oh tis all good, dream. thanks for the well wishes but i am fine. honestly, these pills and such are making me a lot more...... i dont know the word.. Not sick, but a lot more not fine. does that make sense?

LLLOOOPY! Thats what tehy are doing, make you loopy. I dont like it. I really dont.

But its better than coughing up blood.

That sucks man... Hope you get to feeling better.

If you don't mind my asking-- do you have any intention of getting health insurance in the near future? Obviously I don't mean to pry into your financial situation, but with the bad luck you guys have had, and with a young child, it seems like that is almost a necessity.

    JFC brotha, clay is right!

you gotta play it safe homes, next time you might not be so lucky! i mean, not that pneumonia's great or anything, but it sure beats the hell out of lung cancer or shit like that. . . . just because you're young doesn't mean that things can't go wrong. . . oh, and FTR i had pneumonia when i was a teenager, and i knew several people that got it in college-- old people are more vulnerable to most stuff, but anyone can get it. . .

i hope you get it cleared up quickly. . . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

nah nah, its cool. Little chubby went only 2 months without ins. He has to have it. Cant play around there.

yeah we are getting it, its just harder than we thought after our black cloud. Actually we should all be fully covered mid december, but i think we cant actually start being seen until jan 1. Some like 2 month delay thing or soemthing not sure exatly what it is.

I know anyone can get it, but i still suck for geting it.

how long did you have it for? Did hthe pills tehy gave you make you feel not right? Mine do.....The cough syrup makes me all emotional too- i dont know why.?

    Very weird.

It might be cheaper for you to fly down here and get treated. I pay 25 bucks to see a doctor.

Get well soon man. You and the family are due for some good luck.

Seriously. If you let yourself cough up blood for three weeks, you've got some issues. You could have at least tried to diagnose yourself on webmd.com. Hell, 3/4 of the people here could have told you that you've got pnuemonia.

ACTUALLY i did. I remembered you telling me to go there once before. But i got bronchitis off of that site, not pnuemonia. It said bronchitis can last for up to 4 weeks, so thats what i was waiting. For.

But it got worse- and i didnt think i would get pnuemonia. I mean its pnuemonia, mauybe i am jsut baid towards that stuff, but I NEVEr ever thought it would get that far.
