He is a god in the whole state of Oklahoma, so i'd be pretty surprised if he left.

I have to pat myself on the back. 4 years ago I wanted to get an official Thunder jersey.
I didn't want Durant or Westbrook. ... too obvious.
Decided on either Ibaka or Harden. But then knew most likely one of the two would be gone in a couple years.
Weighed my decision for a month or so, and decided that they'd have to unload Harden. .. What Ibaka does on the defensive end was too valuable to give up.
Voila! I don't know why Sam Presti gets the big bucks he does. I smoked out the decision two years ahead of time.
some things from article:
full article - http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-...der-or-wizardsOklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant's free agency is already looming. It's crazy because it's not until 2016, but it's also kind of not crazy because this is the second-best player in basketball and we just watched the No. 1 guy change teams. While every franchise in the NBA would love to make a run at the MVP, Washington Wizards fans are hopeful that Durant will want to come home like LeBron James did, and they're hoping that the presence of John Wall and Bradley Beal in the backcourt will be enough to entice him. Durant might already be considering it, via Grantland's Zach Lowe:
Reminder: the Wizards hired David Adkins, who coached Durant in high school, as an player development guy. Durant told USA Today's Sam Amick that a few months ago in the offseason that it would be tough to leave Russell Westbrook, but he was trying not to think too much about the future:
"I grew up watching the Wizards, (the) Bullets-Wizards," Durant said when pressed on the topic by a reporter from the Washington Post. "I grew up taking the train to that arena all the time. I watched Georgetown, I watched the Bullets, I watched the (WNBA's) Mystics, so that whole city is a part of me, is in my blood. Like I said, I love going back home to see my family and stuff and playing there, but I love Oklahoma City too."

Oh jeez. Not you too Carol.
I wouldn't blame him for leaving OKC for home, but he's loyal. I think it'd be a dumb decision to leave OKC (as long as Russ also stays at least).
If he goes home he gets to play with a traditional point guard who is a star. If he stays he is with a guard that is a star. At home he has even more opportunities to make endorsement money, but at OKC he is, as Abe said, a god.
I'd like to see him stay at OKC. Actually, I'd like to see him go to my Celtics, but that's as likely to happen as MO turning into a Jay Cutler fanboy.

Sam Presti needs to pull a John Elway and mutually part ways with his head coach.
