That said I have driven over the speed limit countless times but never in a reckless manner.

I have never driven while drunk mainly from the fact since I was 30 or so, i figured out that I did not have to drink to get my courage up nor be a different person. I do not enjoy the taste of booze excepting an occasional glass of wine, hot sake or margaritas and the margaritas I do not need the booze to enjoy.

Beer gives me a headache, so I'm left with soft drinks to quench my thirst

I have zero problems with some one drinking in moderation but DUI. Zero empathy.

    Just how I am.

So you speed, but your such a superb driver that we are to believe it's safe when you do it?

Glad to know we are in the company of such a perfect person who has never done wrong and can judge others so harshly.
    Y'all crack me up.

You act like he was related.....or worse, an idol.

The stupid mofo killed an innocent!

Would you feel the same for him had he ran into a school bus and killed 30 children?

I think poo pooing his total disregard for life is pathetic.

I've lost 3 cousins from drunk drivers, in 2 separate incidents.

Its no different than giving a loaded gun to a blind terrorist. Sooner or later, they're gonna kill someone.

I mourn for the families and his innocent friend.

Dance with the devil, you're bound to get burned.

Actually I have hit higher speeds than that when there was not posted limits way back in Nevada. But never after drinking.

Last time I got loaded was a company picnic my #1 son was about 4-5. I passed out trying to urinate and was semiconscious on the floor when my son came in saw me and went yelling to his mom mommymommy daddy is dead.

That was the day I stopped drinking. 1974 about this time of year.

I was surprised that the DM did not fire me as I said some really stupid things about him at the picnic.

Pants around my ankles, exposed to to the world. When I came to I thought it was funny. That was when I realized I was dumb. And stopped. Well the next day actually. When it all came back to me.
