My buddy and boss/partner (long story) said that after seeing that, we are going to have to trade in a crap load of Amex points and fly on Etihad or Singapore Airlines or one of the other A380 airlines with first class apartments, just to experience it once.

FYI, I'm free in late May. Beef's never free, but he does give discounts.

Just to let you know I only saluted dzones post because he stated a plane full of homos and I thought of Samuel Jackson going apeshit on that plane and saying he had enough of all the homos on that plane. Suffice it to say it brought a smile to my face. Great plane beef I'm glad for you

Davii, Beef and I are all pretty knowledgable on planes. We could start an "All Things Aviation" thread...

I don't typically like starting threads. And yes it is a winglet.

A few months ago, we are in the terminal waiting to board and the captain comes up to the ticket counter, grabs the intercom from the gate agent and makes an announcement. Said how thankful he was we chose Delta. Went on to tell us how the 767 was the workhorse of the Delta intercontinental fleet (unfortunately, far more 767's vs 777's in Delta fleet. Then spent about three minutes talking about the winglets on the 767 and how it saved fuel, etc.,etc.

I figured he must be stoned or drunk or something and was just hoping the other two pilots would do the heavy lifting and let the captain get some coffee and sleep it off.

I've never had a pilot do it and he spent about 10 minutes with this thanks and info about the 767 and stuff.

    That's weird.

    767s are badass though.

Never seen it before. Flown Delta about 5 trips since, and not again, so it isn't some new thing.

The 767's tend to be a bit older, smaller bathrooms, etc. That said, the 767-400 is nicer (bigger) than the -300.

I wonder which block the AF will be using for the KC-46.
