Duke has a football team that matters? Or is he more into basketball?

Default Colorado WR Max McCaffrey Commits to Duke

I thought that HS players committed when they were seniors. Or maybe, I am really Or possibly, the verbal commitment does not mean much, until he signs on the dotted line???

The athletic junior, who also plays basketball and track, had received scholarship offers from Arizona State, Connecticut, and Wake Forest. Max is the son of former NFL WR Ed McCaffrey and the nephew of former Duke men’s basketball player Billy McCaffrey.

Duke is a powerhouse for basketball, maybe he enjoys that more. If he is making a move for the nfl, duke is a poor choice of schools.
