Let It Be was always a top 3 Beatles album for me because it gives off such a raw, loose, dudes jamming in a basement vibe. It's great to see the dudes doing exactly that.

Plus a really pretty song by Paul that Phil Spector thought needed to be enhanced to the moon.

Finished it, so excuse me while I post a bunch of articles I've been reading about it.

    https://variety.com/2021/music/news/...nd-1235125819/

“In 1969 that film had a quite chunky, grainy desaturated look to it. One of the purposes was to try to restore it sort of making it look as natural as possible,” Jackson says. “Suddenly the colors were just unbelievable. People say, ‘So how did you do all those colors?’ And I’m saying, we didn’t do the colors, they were there.”

Next was the sound. In this behind-the-scenes look at “Get Back” Jackson demonstrates how they isolated each track while the Beatles were recording. “To me the sound restoration is the most exciting thing. We made some huge breakthroughs in audio. We developed a machine learning system that we taught what a guitar sounds like, what a bass sounds like, what a voice sounds like. In fact we taught the computer what John sounds like and what Paul sounds like. So we can take these mono tracks and split up all the instruments we can just hear the vocals, the guitars. You see Ringo thumping the drums in the background but you don’t hear the drums at all. That that allows us to remix it really cleanly.”

Yep. Looking forward to it. Didn't get a chance to watch Yellowstone or Mayor Kingstown last night, so will watch those tonight, and looking forward to 1883 this weekend.

He's also going to be working on a new series based on the 6666 ranch in Texas. I think that will start airing sometime next year.

Watched the first episode (actually, first 50 minutes) and then stopped to watch the Broncos game. Will watch the second episode after the Broncos game and then watch Yellowstone.

We rewatched season one last weekend, and then watch the second season yesterday/today. Good stuff.

Wheel of Time - splendid. I watch it each Friday as soon as I am off work.

Witcher Season 2 - splendid. I've been slowly watching it because I don't want to enjoy it slower.

Agreed on both. I sure hope a lot of people feel the same way about Wheel of Time and they keep it going for many seasons.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I wish they would have released Witcher weekly instead of all at once, to force us to slow down. Instead, we watched six episodes Saturday and the final two Sunday. We did the same the previous weekend, rewatching season one.

Wheel of Time has finally picked up. Haven't seen Witcher yet. I come to both shows with expectations based on the books (and Witcher III game). Sometimes that messes with my enjoyment.
