It felt like the entire season was a build for next season. I mean I don't think it was horrible, but feels like a let down, for sure. Wait a year....for that? I didn't even binge watch, took about a week to get through it.

Ok "Ballers" might be a little better than MOs description. Or not.

Rock is so engaging. Can't tell just yet but "Entourage only sports" looked a little dismissive.

With a lead like that it might be ok.

I saw episode 10 of True Detective last night....freakin' awesome. I'm thinking about getting HBO just so I can watch this show. I've never watched any episodes of it before. The script is awesome, and so is the cast. It might help ease the pain of my sorrow over The Bridge.

The first season of that show was fantastic. They just started up season two and it seems ok so far, but it didn't hook me right away like that first season did.

I just finished the first 13 episodes of The Strain (not consecutively, last three weeks or so) and I kind of like it. The cliff hanger was pretty good. A different take on the Vampire and Benicio Del Toro is involved in production. I guess the second half of season one starts up next week or in two weeks on FX or FXX or FXXXX or one of those. I'm watching it on Hulu. Anyone else watched it?

Lol, that's how I felt after watching the last two seasons. I watched because the shock value kept me interested, but it was too much like a soap opera.

What do they call soap operas on the other side of the pond?

FWIW, episode 2 of Ballers was much better. I just didn't think I'd like his buddies, but all three of them made me like them this week.

If you can make it through the first four episodes of Wayward Pines, which gave me Lost flashbacks, episode 5 was a real payoff and distinctly different than a lot of the supernatural TV series out there lately.

    A+

Yeah, I am loving it. Really interesting concept

I have no idea why the main character is giving the scientist such a hard time - he basically saved humanity. I am expecting more plot twists, but for now that scientist deserves a break.

How are you ahead of episode 5? I thought the one I was watching now was the newest.

I thought that was episode 5. I am no further than episode 6.

It just came back from a mid season break
