Kept seeing Ozark mentioned by folks now that season 3 came out. I had never bothered watching it.

However, with seeing The Outsider on HBO directed by Jason Bateman and enjoying that, I decided to give Ozark a go.

Through 5 episodes so far. Liking it so far. But worried that they're going to have to start making some more leaps to keep the tension building. .. . leaps that start to strain credulity. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

The Outsider was very meh. Gave up after 5-6 episodes. Admittedly not my genre though, was hoping it might appeal to me, but nah.

Will be interesting with you binge watching, vs. me watching (binged of course) each season as it came out, what your thoughts will be.

I think they've done a great job of evolving the story line, with season three being the best by far.

Ditto. Somewhere in there (4, 5 or 6) it lost me and we haven't gone back to it. Also not my genre, **** me, I'm becoming Buffacized, but wanted to give it a try, but couldn't stick with it.

For the record, I thought it was silly since CC is available, but someone said I was a jerk for saying that. Just wanting your thoughts.

FTR, Carole's ex went missing in 1997.

Joe Exotic didn't start his zoo until around 2002 I think. Maybe even as late as 2004. (Going by memory).

So that timeline/narrative doesn't make much sense.

This only negates part of the theory.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Most of time, I watch American Sign Language Interpreters on news and local news. Much easier for us to understand better. If there is no interpreter... I have to read captions.

Unfortunately, we saw some hearing people were making fun of interpreters on social medias. That is not cool.

At the start of today's Arkansas Governor Covid update, he had the signer introduce himself (with sign and verbally). This one signer has been at all but one or two of the press conferences I've watched. Thought that was nice.

This might be crazy, but I think it's highly possible That Bitch Carol's ex husband went off to Costa Rica to get away from TBC.

Making fun of it is def not cool, but I understand the perspective that it's a huge distraction for some of us. We will get used to it, I'm sure, and that's fine. But I really like communication that is hard-hitting, and if I'm distracted sometimes I don't even know what's being said. It's new, so it will take some time to adjust. I'm a fan of including everyone--being left out sucks.

Then again, maybe there's a way that is better for everyone--an off-screen interpreter that is optional like CC? That makes too much sense though. Tell me what you think.
