    Finished last night. Loved it.

    Favorite homages:
The Neverending Story popping up in the final episode was brilliant.

I forget which episode it was, five or six, when Steve and Robin are tied up back to back, that’s almost a line for line reading of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade when Harrison Ford and Sean Connery are tied up at the castle by the Nazis. (Small nitpick...that movie wasn’t out in 1985j

Yea, watching Eleven and that other girl do glam shots reminds me of my sisters back then. Also, my wife started laughing hysterically when at the beginning Eleven's boyfriend was kissing her and then he started singing Corey Hart and i said "ii would have done something like that" lol

We're going to watch Stranger Things later tonight and tomorrow.

We've REALLY been enjoying Schitt's Creek though - super funny. We watched season 1 last night and are 1/2 way through season 2 today.

    Great show, really enjoying it.
This is one of the best miniseries I have ever watched. Thanks for the recommendation, Davii.

Stranger Things 3 ... Still love the 80's references, but seems like a rehash of season two.

Watching True Detective season 3. Much better than season 2 so far.

Stranger Things 3 was pretty much everything you want from an 80s nostalgia series. I especially liked the Cold War Russia stuff. Easily the most exciting storyline for me was Steve, new girl, toothless kid, and Lucas's sister - who was my favorite new character.

New girl is Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman’s daughter. I had forgot about that until recently.

Also Gary Buseys son was the jerky guy at the newspaper who got mind flayed, thought he looked familiar.

ST3 was fun. I miss the creepy vibe from the first season, but they are still telling fun stories about kids in the 80s. Probably the best you can do once you've revealed the baddie.
