I liked the actor who portrayed Rollo but found it difficult to get into this series.

Yeah - i am on episode 2 now - i get the feel it might be very similar to the blacklist, with that colombian dude being raymond reddington and Rollo being the new dude on the team

I wonder how Uncle Luke started Luke Skywalker's Records without Star Wars coming down on him?

Amazing how fast time goes, North. I haven't really seen these guys since late 80s/90s, and they got old. LoL.

Yea, ive never been the biggest hip hop fan but its interesting seeing how some of the guys were discovered and connected before they got big. I had forgotten that 2Pac had been involved with Digital Underground and that Busta Rhymes had been involved with A Tribe Called Quest. The series is very interesting and fun to watch.

Yeah. Growing up in SW Louisiana with the brothas as teammates & friends, I got to know hip hop. Granted, I also grew up with people like my Dad who would say...'turn off that shit'. LoL. I wouldn't.

Other than Oakland, so far, this hip hop evolution is mostly east coast. West coast was just as big of an influence.

Still working on this Vietnam War series. We need to find a way to never let Ken Burns die.
