The recent Seth Rogan Netflix thing. I identify with that dude. He's got a good segment, you all should give it a look.

It's called "Strange Times." Has me laughing out loud, which I wish I did a helluva lot more than I do.

Shit. My bad. I feel like he's a legit kindred spirit. Seth Rogan is another dude, huh?

Well, I think MMA is dumb, but other than that, I suppose.

Male violence underpins so much of society. A sport that distills it as much as MMA does is just as relevant as NFL football. It's sport porn, soft-core. NFL football is like hardcore porn but with amazing costume and choreography work so you don't realize what you are watching. We drop from our chairs at the ballet aspect, but it's only not ballet because dudes are concussing themselves on the reg everywhere else.

I mean (shoutout to UR!), I get the appeal. I understand it, I guess. But -- and I get roasted here when I say this -- but there's little intellect to MMA, and on a local level it really is just thrill-seeking rednecks beating up thrill-seeking rednecks in an octagon who mostly don't want to let their wrestling days go. I think there's some intellect to football in the schemes and the chess match, which I think if you've paid attention to my posts you'll see that's what I enjoy about it and not necessarily the part that MMA and football share which is the shear brutishness of it.

The chess part is exquisite. My favorite part, too. But we don't tune in Sundays to chess matches somehow.

This last MMA thing that was a train wreck this weekend, I found myself optimizing style similar to Gracie--how do you create a human energy curve that best results in success in that format? It has to be sustained periods of wrestling positions that deplete your opponent. Like in aerial combat, you have these Em curves that compare the energy of one participant to the other--how do you deplete that airframe's energy? That part interests me, the rest is just bottled hate.

Maybe what really moves us is the bottled hate, but we want it to look pretty.

I feel like I know exactly what you mean though. Like...more than a few words can relate.

Season 3 Episode 1 of the Man in the High Tower. It was a little hard to follow. I probably should have watched the season 2 recap.

I like it. It’s a really well done show.

Keep your SCROTUS in your pants bro. I'm not going to fall for the look at my brain game!

Not what I meant at all. I'm referring to primitive pecking order behavior. Not some trendy topic that caught your fancy that you want to introduce into non-PR threads!

I thought I'd get a chuckle out of you because of the context of our PM's. I apologize.

I might have asked this before, but have you checked out Penny Dreadful? That show seems to be up your alley.

Also, I haven't watched an episode of Black Mirror - can you tell me what's dope about it?
