*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Haven't seen a few of those. In general, I find Brit programming superior.

The stuff we release in tandem with netflix or another international distributor do tend to be excellent.......but make no mistake, we have utter nonsense as well (not quite as bad as bull, or 2 broke girls) which are really only on tv in order for commercials to be played in the middle of.

I'm halfway through season three but I'm saving the rest of the series for when school starts and I need something truly good in my life.

I've watched Sherlock and Luther. They're splendid.

The wife and I watched "Safe" a few weeks ago. I recommend it. We tend to really enjoy the British shows, and movies.

The Australians, and New Zealanders, do a fine job as well.

Broadchurch and Paranoid were both really good. Marcella is probably as good as either .

I forget what series we were watching (it was a criminal detective movie in Scotland or Wales, I believe), but I can't get over how the detective never has a firearm. I'm not even sure the cops have one.

    Cops are unarmed.

    Less those with special training

We're into the 2nd episode of season 1 of 'Under the Dome'. I find Rachelle Lefevre to be very attractive.
