The sleep timer is on your TV, you idiot. The boxes never fully shut off so they can update in the middle of the night.

Now, in Hawg's defense, I've also wondered why the Xfinity remote - that also controls my TV - doesn't have a sleep button for the TV. I think I read somewhere that getting to the sleep menu on TV's are different depending on manufacturer, so it's nearly impossible to have the Comcast remote account for all the possibilities.

Solution: Use your damn TV remote for the sleep timer.

How should I handle this? Apologize or double down?

Yeah, well, wife creatively misplaced the TV remote. You'd think that since the xfinity remote has a TV remote emulator that it would have a sleep timer. It's the most useful button on the remote after power, channels, input, and volume.
