It's pretty slow this season but the martial arts scenes are still really fun.
Not sure where they are going with it and I don't think the writers are either...;-)

Just finished the final episode of season 1 of True Detective. That show is easily the best series I've ever seen.

Episode 5 is the peak of crime/drama genre in any medium. It is absolutely enthralling.

The final scene of the final episode is amazing and sums up the series as well as it could have possibly been done.

Can't say enough how much I love that show.

This is high on my list! I think I've watched the first part of the first episode a few times and haven't been drawn in yet. I still don't know what Time is a Flat Circle is in reference to, but I see it referenced all the time (Don't spoil it for me!).

    That show was good.

I feel like you are holding back, MO. So many months sitting on that knowledge, starving me. What else are you holding back?

I’m not holding back anything, really. I was entertained. I could shut my brain off and just enjoy. I also enjoyed the length of the episodes. Kind of refreshing when “prestige” TV shows have been creeping from 43-45 minutes to 55-60 minutes.
