I think it's pretty good so far. HBO Now had all four episodes (I think episode two airs tonight). I've watched the first two. Iovine's career arc is pretty crazy.

Finished Narcos. Saw it has been picked up for seasons 3 and 4. I don't think 3 or 4 will be as good.

This is interesting, because when you're working with a historical figure, at some point you're going to have to end the series, because you know, he died. That could seem problematic in the story telling of too many seasons.

It will he hard to top the performance of Wagner Moura. He was outstanding in the part of Pablo.

However there are several other characters that were exceptional (ex. the two DEA agents and the colonel). So, I'm cautiously optimistic.

There are good characters, but my concern is Pablo was in many ways the main character of the show. Even moreso than the DEA agents. There is still a story to tell I suppose, but without it's central character and it's most mythical villain, I think it will be less captivating. Cali Cartel has good characters and all, but a few good villains are not as interesting as one larger-than-life villain. Carrillo VS Escobar was thrilling for a reason and I wish they would have kept it going a little while longer.

I read that Pena will still be on, and they added 2 more DEA agents to the cast, but there hasn't been a confirmation on Murphy. I'll still watch and i'm sure it will still be good, but I don't think it will be as good.

Agreed, and I will reiterate, the guy who played Pablo was fantastic.

Watching "The Standups" on netflix. Five minutes in, this random standup guy is decent.

The thing about Narcos is if you know the story of Pablo Escobar, you already know where things go from here.

I've binged both Game of Thrones and The Ringer's Binge Mode podcast that now accompanies it for the last six weeks. It's taken up way too much of my time, but I'm on episode 8 of season 6, so I cannot stop now.

There is a game of thrones podcast? Who knew? MO knew.

Standups #3 Deon Cole best yet. #2 was a fat lesbo chick and her swag was hot but her jokes didn't really land.
