I'm not thinking "best show" so much as my most enjoyable for me. I get a great deal of enjoyment from the type of humor TBBT holds. Being a nerdy geek, it's humor that gets me.

    Deadwood
    The Wire
    Hell on wheels

That's my top three by a mile, after those come any number of interchangeable shows, but if I had to add another two it would be

    Game of thrones
    Waking dead

Hell on Wheels is another one I could put in the top 5.

    Probably

    Knight Rider
    A-Team
    Starblazers
    GI Joe
He Man & The Masters of the Universe

All this new stuff doesn't capture my imagination the same way. Must be the quality of the content.

Have you watched the Sopranos? It will always be #1 for me.

Don't watch that. The series is ended with bad writing and self-masturbatory shit for psuedo-intellectuals who make a pseudo-intellectual like me seem humble and nice.

This doesn't apply to Buff, who is a good man.

Buff, don't go to war with me on this one. I'm just giving my opinion. I can't fight you any longer.

CNN's The Eighties series is on netflix now. I loved The Sixties and The Seventies, and the 80s is probably my favorite recent pop culture decade so I am excited to start it.

Naturally I disagree. But you are entitled to your own shitty opinion, per the usual.

The greatness of Deadwood is not in its production of "big moments." Deadwood is great because of its characterization, realism, and humor. It's more Mad Men than Breaking Bad in that regard.
