There's happy and then there's Von Miller.

The newest Broncos player, Miller was all smiles at the team's Dove Valley complex today. He shook hands and likely would have kissed some babies if any had been available.

He addressed Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway as "Mr. Elway," defensive end Elvis Dumervil as "Mr. Elvis Dumervil" and defensive end Robert Ayers as "Mr. Ayers" as the team welcomed its latest No. 1 pick.

"The guy we got is the best player on our board," Elway said.

Miller, the second player taken in the draft, arrives in the Mile High City as the best pass rushing prospect in this year's draft — he had 27.5 sacks in his last two seasons combined at Texas A&M. He immediately becomes the first rookie piece of the team's rebuilding puzzle.

Hopefully he goes out and has Lasik, and loses the glasses. Just think how much better he can be if he can see!

I am really impressed with that young man.

His humility is really refreshing.

You could see him trying so hard to hold back tears at the draft. And his grin is so genuine!

Does anyone know what the tatoo says around Millers neck?

It looks like it says Relondo something...not too clear on the presser.
