Court proceedings between NFL, players begin in Minnesota
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- NFL players and owners have gone from the negotiating table to the courtroom.
Lawyers for a group of players and the NFL are arguing in front of a federal judge on Wednesday morning. A group of players is asking a judge to issue a preliminary injunction on the lockout the owners imposed after talks on a new collective bargaining agreement broke off three weeks ago.
Several players are in attendance, including named plaintiffs Mike Vrabel of the Kansas City Chiefs, Vincent Jackson of the San Diego Chargers, draft-eligible prospect Von Miller of Texas A&M and Brian Robison of the Minnesota Vikings.
