Twittered that we got a pick for maroney. A 7th.
Is it even worth looking up?

The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
Actually, the pick isn't for Maroney. It's for a free agent we lost last year.
Who the hell did we lose last year that was worth a 7th? Josh Barrett?

Any added picks is a good at this point. Now if we could just land some in the 4th and 5th rounds we would be good.
According to this site, we didn't get a pick.

Barrett was cut, so we wouldn't receive one for him. You have to have talent to lose in order to get compensatory picks. The Broncos have been awarded very few in the last decade.
KFFL says differently.

The Denver Broncos have been awarded a compensatory pick in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft, reports FOXSports.com's Adam Caplan.
I hope your sight is right and mine is wrong North. This team needs every pick they can get.
http://www.denverpost.com/sports/ci_17702121The Broncos were awarded a seventh-round draft pick in next month's draft today, bringing the team's total picks to seven.
The NFL awarded 21 compensatory picks to make up for free-agent losses in 2010. The league added 11 other picks, bringing the number to 32, matching the number of NFL franchises. The Broncos received one of those picks.
The Broncos new pick is No. 246 overall. The Broncos also will pick at No. 2 in the first round, No. 36, No. 46 (from Miami in Brandon Marshall trade), No. 67, No. 186, and No. 189.

If we got a pick for not losing anyone, wouldn't every team be getting a pick? Ben Hamilton started most of the season for Seattle. I wonder if he might have something to do with this pick.
