He wouldn't trust me. Davii, I'd be honored. Just give me money for parts and I'll get her all done up right.

Congress is set to give combat status, purple hearts, and related benefits to the victims of Maj. Hasan in the Ft. Hood shooting. I never understood why the President wouldn't classify the attack as terrorism. At least there is action on it now, five years later.

Default Umpiring School Helps Wounded Warriors Get Back In the Game

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4)– A special umpiring school is helping wounded Marines rekindle their love for baseball and adjust to civilian life. Fourteen Marines from across the country took part in the nine day camp at Double Angel Field in Parker this summer.

Retired Marine Sgt. Clayton McDaniel was one of the participants. He played baseball all his life growing up in Oregon.

“I never missed a season when I was a kid,” he said.

But when he joined the Marines in 2006, baseball was something that had to wait. While serving in Afghanistan, a blast from an improvised explosive device injured his hips.
    AND

McDaniel said he had an immediate bond with the other Marines at camp, “We’ve all done certain things, but being in baseball creates an even bigger bond.”

He says umpiring schools was a way to return to a game he loves. But for other Marines, umpiring school has meant much more.

“One of them said it has saved his life,” recalled Weikle. “What it has done is save a lot of our lives, too.”

Default FBI issues alert about 'Middle-Eastern males' approaching military families in Colorado, Wyoming

    FORT CARSON, Colo. -

Fort Carson responded Wednesday to an alert the FBI sent to law enforcement about Middle-Eastern men approaching and questioning military families in northern Colorado and Wyoming.

The alert, which you can read here, says that in May of this year, the wife of a US military member was approached in front of her home in Greeley by two Middle-Eastern men. It says the men said she was the wife of a US interrogator, which she denied. It says the men laughed and then got into a dark-colored sedan with two other Middle-Eastern men inside. The alert says the woman had seen the car in the neighborhood before.

The report also says that several similar incidents have been reported in Wyoming. It says the men in those cases tried to obtain personal information about military members through intimidation and that some family members have reported feeling scared.

It's a good thing we have such a screwed up immigration policy.
