And this isn't just recently where fox has started sucking at covering the super bowl....

Remember in Super Bowl XXXIII the 80 touchdown pass to rod smith right off the commercial break (maybe start of 2nd quarter)...fox was running some BS promo for Ally McBeal or some shit, and they didn't cut back into the game until AFTER the ball was in the air and Rod Smith was running down the field.

Homeland Security banned cans of hair spray from the stadium and you could tell it affected Jimmy Johnson's performance.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

I usually love the Black Eyed Peas, but they were horrible. They are far too electronic to pull off a live half time show.

We had coverage on ESPN Deportes not FOX. If you selected the English broadcast instead of the Spanish speaking announcers it was Bob Popa and Joe Theismann calling the game. They did an OK job.

I agree GEM. The Black Eyed Peas were terrible.

I thought the halftime show was the best I've ever seen. I spoke to quite a few people about the show and either you absolutely loved it or hated it.

My wife and I thought it was amazing.

I took a shower during the half time show. Glad I missed it. I think the Black Eyed Peas suck on a good day.

As far as the announcers, I thought they were Benji fans more than actually trying to announce the game.
    Merry.

Black eyed peas were a disaster. One of the worst halftime shows ever. Was that music or was it star trek?

The visuals were great. The singing itself....blech. With the mics going in and out and some of the lighting on the stage going in and out...it just wasn't well done IMO.

I guess I'm in the minority on thinking it was a great show.

I put up a poll on PFT a few minutes ago and so far there's 21 votes thumbs up and 160 votes thumbs down.

what was that goofy plastic toupee that will i am was wearing? The singing was horrible.

Usher was cool, but having him dancing with men was lame.

Worst SB halftime show ever IMO. Even the Who, with Roger Daltrey losing his breath, was better than that.

I didn't love it, but I thought it was easily much better than The Who and Bruce Springsteen.

Fergie wasn't looking as hot as usual though, which I found disappointing.

I wish she would have been in a black catsuit and stilettos.
She was afraid to look too sexy since she was the first girl halftime show since janet jackson
