Ok. I think it was just my friend being stupid and misinformed.
Not quite a fan of the newer stuff, but the classic stuff (Mercyful Fate too) is friggin' awesome.

King Diamond did guest vocals on a track for Dave Grohl's side project Probot, song is called "Sweat Dreams", its a pretty good tune if you haven't checked it out yet.

Sorry, but I just saw this. Just a BS rumor. Reminds me of an old BS rumor.... that King Diamond played Puggsley on the Addams Family.
I've been a huge fan since Melissa was released by Mercyful Fate in 1983.
