    Jamaal Charles wins FedEx Ground Player of the Year Award

    Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles picked up another honor today when he received the the 2010 FedEx Ground Player of the Year in Dallas, site of the Super Bowl.

    Charles, the NFL’s second-leading rusher with 1,467 yards, was chosen over Houston’s Arian Foster, the leading rusher with 1,616 yards; and Atlanta's Michael Turner.

    Hard to argue, the Chiefs should have given him more carries as the season progressed it seemed they relied on Cassel too much. Charles had a great season.

    I was going to point this out...
    That made all the difference right there and no doubt Charles would have led in rushing if he had not shared carries with Jones.

    HOW on earth did they not run him more JUST in the playoff game?? I like Thomas Jones.. BUT. even taking away his 41 yarder.... he had 41 yards on 8 rushes....5.0 ypc

    Haley should be shot for that. "I know we were gaining 5 yards a carry.. BUT I think the short passing game was going to really fake them out!!!!!"
