    It doesn't matter how the picks were acquired. They were ours at the time he traded them. I don't know why this is so hard to understand.

    If someone gives you $100 and you go and spend it all on an item valued at $50, it wasn't a smart purchase just because you were given the money. It was yours at the time you over payed.

    Just because something is worth more to one than another, doesn't necessarily make it worth less.
