Default Hue Jackson's time in Oakland has arrived

Hue Jackson's time in Oakland has arrived

This has been in the making for a year.

Ever since the Oakland Raiders tabbed Hue Jackson as their offensive coordinator last January, it was widely assumed in NFL circles that he’d eventually replace Tom Cable as the Raiders’ head coach. The smart money was Jackson replacing Cable during the 2010 season.
Early rumors have Hue bringing in Al Saunders as OC and Chuck Pagano (Ravens) as DC

Sounds like some continuity finally along with some upgrades.

Well, with your luck, Silver, Jackson will be good, so The Corpse will feel compelled to fire him, too . . .

    more like 1.5. . .

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

He was with three other men, maybe the worst he gets is probation.

EDIT: This is not the Lawrence Moroney thread. My bad.

The over under for Hue Jackson's prison time is 1.5 years.

Al Davis hires head coaches like its a government contract - always to the lowest bidder.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

I just hope that Hue Jackson was smart enough to set up a payment plan that prevents or prohibits Al Davis/the Raiders from withholding or failing to the
ENTIRE amount due under his contract.

Perhaps have Al Davis and the Raiders deposit the entire amount due under the contract into an account supervised by the NFL where the NFL or an independent third-party makes the payments when due.
Too bad she doesn't cheer for the Patriots dressed like this

Al Davis never ceases to amaze me. I still don't know why he would fire the coach who brought the Raiders an undefeated Divisional record, and at least a .500 season.

    But, that's his problem.

    I know, huh?

A .500 season in Jokeland has got to be like anybody else winning the SB . . .
