Could former Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels be a good fit in Oakland?

With Raiders head coach Tom Cable unlikely to return, reports out of the Bay Area indicate that McDaniels is a potential candidate to replace him.

Nancy Gay, NFL Senior Editor for FOXSports.com, says Stanford head coach Jim Harbaugh and McDaniels both “intrigue” Raiders owner Al Davis.

Looks like it's possible McDaniels could mirror Shanahan once again by following in his footsteps and joining his former team's biggest rival. I doubt this happens but it's interesting nonetheless. Hey, maybe he could pay us back for all the damage he did here by trading away the Raiders' young offensive talent

Shananahan at least went and WON a Super Bowl as a coordinator before trying again. Something McD hasn't done yet. I think it would be hilarious if McD refused to interview for other teams, but actually took an interview with the Raiders. NOTHING would be better than to watch McD work for Al Davis.... he deserves it!

McDaniels and Davis... a match made in hell.

I could see him taking it, the defense is already there and you know how much he loves to pass but that would mean that McFadden and Bush would lose carries. lmao
