It does involve the joker so it'll probably have a zany plot, maybe not that zany though... My bet is that its just a little prop or whatever. Nothing major.

I wonder if they ever plan on doing some of his greater story lines? "Hush", "killing joke" something! (of course theres a lot of background in those stories so maybe it's not feasible)

Well, with Hush, you've got to go through the whole Two-Face/Two-Face redemption thing, and that would just be COMPLICATED. I loved that story line, but it made use of a ton of villains (including Clayface, who I don't think would translate well to film - think Sandman from Spiderman 3, which was a total mistake, IMO). "Killing Joke" would be great, except you need a Robin... not sure how Robin would work in a movie, either.

I'm not saying it'll definitely suck, but I don't want this Batman franchise to crash and burn like the last one did.

Eh. I used to have a small fear of clowns until I saw Heath. Then this promo scared me again.
