Default Fans organizing a “Fire Gary Kubiak” rally

The Texans have an underrated fanbase. They are knowledgeable, passionate, and generally as supportive as any fans considering the franchise’s lack of success. (I’d rank them below Green Bay for blind positivity.)

The disastrous 2010 Texans season, though, has tested their faith. A few fans have decided to organize a “Fire Gary Kubiak Rally” before Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

It didn't help that DeMarco Ryans went out at the bye.....Mario Williams right after....not hard to pinpoint that about the time Ryans went out is about the time their defense fell to the bottom of the pack.

yeah but the stellar defense still find ways to be good defenses when 1 or 2 key players go down with injuries. kinda simular with us when dumervil went down before the season even started but we still shouldnt have been among the worst in the league.

we have had years to turn around this defense and we continue to ignore it. it's not just depth anymore we need some high impact players like suggs, ngata, peppers, clay matthews ect. i fully expect us to spend spend spend in free agency on defense this offseason. if bowlen wants a superbowl then he must do this.

Im more concerned with who our assistants are going to be this year and I hope Kubiak is one of them...

To tell you the truth I wouldnt mind if Studesville remained the head coach for the future as long as this team has a strong coaching staff to back him up..

I wouldn't call their fan base under rated at all. They're a football smart group of people. They had the Oilers there for a long, long time.

I, too, wouldn't mind having Studesville remain as the coach, so long as his staff is legit and our front office is intact and cohesive. Maybe what this team needed all along is a head coach who is just that who lets the offensive and defensive coaches do just that, coach offense and defense. IMO, coaches having power in this organization are a thing of the past. Pee Wee Herman could coach an NFL team if he was surrounded by the right people.

Food for thought. If, hypothetically, we had Studesville as a head coach, Kubiak as an offensive coordinator, and Nolan as a defensive coordinator, I don't think that's a losing combination at all.

Why? Studes was the RB coach that coached of the worst running games we have had here in years. What has he done to warrant being a qualified HC? All he is is an interm HC that is just helping us pass time. He is more than a project than Tebow and I want someone qualified with experience as a successfull NFL HC.

I love Nolan as DC and Kubiak as OC but more than likely Kubiak will be HC and Nolan won't leave Miami nor would he wan't to come back after getting burned.

You think a RB coach has to do with whether you are going to have success running the ball?

I'd say a little but that only goes so far... has more to do with the personel and a coach not committed to running the ball.

I wouldnt judge Studesville off what hes done as a RB coach... a Great or bad rb coach doesnt make or break your season...

How did Denver's running game look with Bobby Turner the last couple years he was in Denver?

And a coach who decides to drop an OLine system that the players looked very good playing for a scheme that none of them were good at. I don't know of a rb out there that would have looked good behind that line.

There's a real chance those "Fire Gary Kubiak" rallies will be appearing in Denver around 2014 or 2015.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
