**BroncosForums Pick 'em League 2010 - Week 13 - Skipping Thursday pick due to late pickem thread**
Welcome to week 13 of the Broncos Forums Pick'em Challenge. Everyone is invited to play and have fun.
The weekly winner will receive:
1. $10 gift certificate to Amazon.com or $10 gift sent to your Paypal account (the choice is yours)
2. The weekly champion will receive a signature made by MasterShake.
The season winner will receive:
1. A $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com or Paypal payment along with bragging rights for the rest of the year!
2. The 2nd place season total finisher will receive a $30 gift certificate to Amazon.com or Paypal payment.
3. The 3rd place season total finisher will receive a $20 gift certificate to Amazon.com or Paypal payment.
Summery of rules:
Pick the winner of every game.
You will receive 1 point for every correct pick.
MNF score prediction will be used as a tiebreaker. If there are two games on Monday, the latter of the two will be used for the tiebreaker. (Tiebreaker explanation)
A Bonus point will be awarded for predicting the exact points the Broncos or their rival will score.
If you've played the pick 'em previously and have since changed your username, please indicate in your post who you were previously.
*** Important ***
When posting your picks:
List only the winner of each game. If you list both teams, your picks will not be counted.
Keep the order in which the games are listed.
Put the score next to the MNF and the Broncos games only.
The Broncos game and MNF game will always be the last two games listed, due to how the spreadsheet is constructed.
Any post or post-edit after the first kickoff will receive an automatic DQF
If you missed Thursday’s game you can still make your picks on the remaining games as long as you get the picks in before the games start on Sunday.
If this is the case, do not post a pick for Thursday’s game. I do not want to have to check the post date on everyone’s picks. If I find a post that has been made after Thursday’s game with a prediction for the winning team that post will be DQ and none of the picks will count.
This is all for fun guys/gals but please follow these rules. If you type your picks different then what I have on the list I have to retype them all. I have the spreadsheet set to count each members picks. It will not count the picks if they are written in different then what I have in the spreadsheet. It will not count the picks if they are in a different order then they are in spreadsheet. If you type JAX instead of JAC sometimes I type in JAX and it will not count the pick. then I have to go back through everything to find the error
When I make my picks I Quote the picks post, then delete all the teams I don't think will win. Then I delete everything except my picks. Maybe this will work for you?
Like last year, Carol has offered to keep an eye on people's picks and send them an MHS message or PM if they missed any. Hopefully, this will help keep any silly mistakes from costing people a win.
IMPORTANT: In the past, some people have not followed the format rules posted above. It is critical that you use the team abbreviations EXACTLY as they are listed below. Do not type out the full name. Do not color code the pics. Do not list two teams, including when you must pick the score. List ONLY the team you are picking, and for game with scores, enter the score of the winning team first (example: DEN 24 - 7). Your help in this will be greatly appreciated.
Also, as the rules state that any post in this thread or edit after first kickoff will result in a DNQ, the mods or I will do our best to lock this thread right after the first games kickoff, so I will not have to try and catch post-kickoff edits.

Everyone, try to remember to get your picks in before the Thursday game (when there is a thursday game). If you want to edit any of your picks for Sunday’s games after Thursday, quote your original post as proof of your Thursday's prediction, then color the edited picks.
