Closer than I thought it should have been, but a fun game to watch.

Amazing what happens when they don't half ass it.

Yes, because Spain is really good and played an incredible game. Team USA had to play at an incredibly high level just to win that game.

Team USA's defense sucked. The offense carried them to the gold that game. Spain has some good players, but they weren't that good. The officiating was also horrible, but at least it was bad for both sides.

No there defense wasn't great, but did you see some of the shots and plays that Spain was making? They were playing their hearts out and hitting big time shots.

Because they work harder than their talent. Something that hasn't been done in the NBA since Jordan was around.

It's the reason why Lebron James has no jump shot, why Jason Kidd finds it easier to get traded than to take a team with pretty good talent far in the playoffs on a consistent basis. Why Dirk N and the Mavericks underachieve.

Man I love Kevin Garnett.
