Thread: We need a new banner before the season starts

Ok, we have been talking about it almost since the season ended, but we still have a banner with at least one player (Elam) that should be removed, and probably should have some more of the young talent.

I was going to hire someone and had him provide some samples first, but didn't receive very positive feedback (those banners are ).

I can try hiring someone else, but one way or another it would be nice to have a new banner up when the season starts.

I have no graphical talent so I either need some of you to submit designs or I need to hire someone.

Perhaps I'd have time to do some graphics work within the next little while...

I was always up for doing this, but it seems like you guys went a different route before. Heck, I have some banners already done that I'd just have to edit and put in the players people actually want to see on there. Cutler, Marshall -- (obviously) -- I just need a little guidance on this.

If you can post them in this thread, along with any ideas that Blue has, then we can get feedback from the other members.

It would be great. The more banners posted, the better. Either one of them most will love, or people can say, "I like xxxx from that one, but the xxxx from that one"

Heres one I whipped up at my "job". Its a start, I guess.

This isn't edited from before, but I thought I'd just show it again.

Obviously, the players in it could definitely be changed, but I do like Cutler as a focus and the general theme.

IMHO, (duh) I think it looks pretty professional.

Ok, Dream and Mastershake have posted possible banners. Anyone else? Any suggestions/input for them based on what they posted?

I would like to have a new banner up prior to the opening day weekend.

i like the one dream posted. . . i think the "for the fans, by the fans" slogan needs to be bigger, and i think it might look better if the 27 and the 29 were on opposite ends. . . but other than those little details, it looks good to me. . . oh, and maybe dumervil, dj, marshall or clady instead of chef-- i love the guy's potential and ability, but he's not even a starter. . .

I don't know why but I am partial to the sunset over the stadium in the one that MasterShake posted.
