Scotland maintained pace as the only Home Nation worth watching, with a win over Romania 42-0!

For all you fans of Minnowfest 2007, I highly recommend watching next weeks games! There will be some excellent rugby!

    Canada v Japan
    Romania v Portugal (go Portugal)
    Georgia v Namibia
    Samoa v USA

    Well, what a week!

Sharkie's boyos turned on the Welsh flair we have waited so long for and demolished Japan 72-18.

Italy beat the new darlings of international rugby, Portugal 31-5 (yes another try for Portugal!)

Scotland kept up their top form with a 42-0 romp over Romania, and Fiji beat Canada 29-16.

But the big news is this!

Frenchie's Le Bleus whipped Ireland 25-3, to gain the upper hand in the Pool of Death.

Tonga are up 10-7 over South Africa!!!!!!!

Big accident on field. SA player looks to have hit his teammates leg, and hurt his neck. Been taken off on a backboard.

    Wow!

What a huge game! 30-25 to Sa, with Tonga threatening right up to the last second!

Such a great display against the team that shut out Cup holders England bodes well for Tongan rugby, and showed the speed, strength and flair of Southern Hemisphere rugby!

Now to watch England vs Samoa.

Come on Samoa! Jonny 'Lame BOy' Wilkinson is back in the england side, so undoubtably all english hopes will weigh heavy on his shoulders.

England up 16-6, with 11 of those points from the boot of Jonny.

Fiesty play, and definitely the best work of the RWC from England, but by no means convincing anyone of their quality.

44-22 to England, but by no means a convincing effort.

Wliko's kicking technique is getting more and more ridiculous.

    Australia just defeated Fiji 55-12.

Tidy display by Oz, and never really looked too pushed.

NZ put the first points on the board with a sweet pass from So'iolao to the Captain Richie McCaw to dot down under the posts. DC converts easily.

And Doug Howlett now holds the record for leading try scorer for NZ with 47 tries.

Carter pushes the conversion across the face of the posts. 12-0 NZ

Fantastic work by NZ to be finished off by a try from Byron Kelleher. Carter pushes ANOTHER conversion across the goal!

After some really hit and miss rugby from both sides, a great breakaway from Ali Williams scores a try in the corner.

Carter misses yet another kick from the touch line!

Carter makes a tidy apology for the misses with a neat forced fumble, and tapping the ball ahead to scoop it up and run in a solo try!

    And the conversion!

    40-0 to NZ.

Not a good game by their standards. I imagine DC will be practising those touchline kicks for quite some time!

    Northern teams suck this year...

France is may be the best of them (showing that by beating ireland 25-3)...
But let's face it, Southern teams are again far ahead... Even Springboks that I didn't see as a potential winner of this WC...

    Australia is there...

NZ is always there and seem very impressive...

I just hope we'll find again our french flair...
BTW, our first try against Ireland is a great example of that...
But really, I don't think it will be enough to win this WC
