Nah, I hear there's an opening for security guard, though . . .

already scouring the want ads for McD?

Well, thats smart. You know what they say, it's easier to look for a job when you still have one.

As said before, if McD loses his job, he's more than welcome to come to my house and be my cat litter pooper scooper.

Speaking of bye weeks, this I think took place...

    (it's just a story, it didn't happen)

A seven year old boy was at the center of a county courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy had a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Denver Broncos, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

McD and and a couple of his assistants were on a recruiting trip when their single-engine airplane sputtered and crashed in the mountains. The three coaches climbed out of a snowbank and immediately proved their resourcefulness. They drained a bit of gasoline out of the fuselage and started a fire. Later, when they got thirsty, they put a bit of snow in a twisted piece of metal and melted it to make drinking water. A few days later, dying of hunger, they ripped strips from the leather seats, dipped them in motor oil, and fried them up like bacon for a nourishing treat.

The people up the street at the Hilton in Aspen all admitted it was the most amazing thing they had ever seen.

I'm gravitating to the point where I may not want McD anywhere in the building.

He might consider hiring Cable as his personal body guard, though. I mean, there
    must be something Cable's good at . . .

He's obviously good at eating, and punching assistant coaches in the face if they touch his donuts.

After Peyton Hillis' performance, the entire NFL world is laughing at the Denver Broncos for trading Hillis and a 6th round pick for Brady Quinn.

Therefore, it's official. The Broncos have lost to Bye Week.

And here I was going to make some wise-ass retort about us making up a 1/2 game on the Pats - but damn it - you're right
