At first glance it's simple and maybe even silly, but the longer you ponder it the more profound it becomes. It was music written for all of us. There was absolutely no pretense. No fakery. Not a single drop of elitism. He was pure Americana and Americana at it's absolute finest.

Space Cowboy is one of my favorite songs of the last decade. Her and Eric Church’s Mr. Misunderstood album are about the only country I’ve been listening to.
