Day 22 - A song that moves you forward

    Short and sweet.

Day 23 - A song you think everybody should listen to

Everybody should once in a while experience a song as jovial as this one:

Day 24 - A song by a band you wish were still together

Day 24 - Song by a band, you wish they were still together

Welp. A band that broke up recently that would still have something to offer. Hm.

I like this midwestern band, maybe they are from where MO lives, idk. Or maybe Iowa. I can't remember. Friends or same circle as Connor Oberst, that delicate flower. The band is called Head of Femur. I liked them a lot, but no one really knows them. I can't find anything on youtube I want to share really. Ok, this gives you an idea. Something only hawg really could dig.

Day 25 - This person is dead, but you like his or her song.

Day 26 - Song that makes you want to fall in love.

I could just point to the song immediately above, Nick Drake's Northern Sky. Another one is Van Morrison's Sweet Thing. That's if we are talking about unicorn type, mythical love, that infatuation that makes you think such things are possible.

If it was more of a hot and heavy type of fall in love, I'd go with this one.

And if it was even more hot and heavy, this one.

Of course, such things always lead to this.

When you were really hoping for this.

So let's just go with the last one.

Day 27, 28 - Song that breaks your heart, song with a voice you love

I've been waiting for Day 28, and Lisa G breaks my heart with it. This is one of my all-time favorites, up there with Pink Floyd's Time. That part at 3:00 still kills me.

Just thought of another one that kinda fits both, so I'll turn this in as a combined submission over two days, let you pick which goes to which day. Same thing--Shane's voice is exquisite, and this song give me some intense feels.

One boy, one girl, one Englishman, one Australian.

Day 25 - Song you like by an artist no longer living

    Buddy Holly is the OG.

    ---

Day 26 - Song that makes you want to fall in love

There are too many good options here. Here are the two that stand out the strongest at this moment:

All My Loving is honorable mention.

Day 27 - Song that breaks your heart

That mfer Jackson Browne wrote his masterpiece when he was 16. I performed it at a coffee shop once a few years ago. I usually prefer the Nico version because it sounds more wistful and nostalgic and heartbreaking to me, but both flavors deliver.

"Please don't confront me with my failures, I had not forgotten them"
