    I'll second this.

I asked a friend to mail me black and white photocopies of the lyric sheets to a few Pogues albums when I was in basic training. I'd read them by flashlight and play the songs mentally.

Neighbors were listening to Green Day’s “She” earlier pretty loud so now I’m creating a 90s/00s rock playlist.

It’s a good song and definitely unexpected.

Early Green Day was good stuff.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Deathprod - Black Transit of Jupiter's Third Satellite (from Occulting Disk)

I'm getting into these dark electronic pieces--both the danceable ones (like Filmmaker) and the more long-form ambient ones like this.

I basically have no option other than to use my iPod from 10 years ago for music, so I’ve been on a Rage Against the Machine/RHCP/Green Day kick lately.

The Neon Judgement - Fashion Party. I pretend it's Nut singing to Val when I listen.

How they never became a thing is beyond me. They at least deserve some kind of cult following...
