    Holy goat balls, I'm now proud that I was so into SOAD. Way more going on than I realized. From this perspective, I consider Chop Suey a modern music landmark.

    Slick & NTL, this one's for you (Man in the Box):



    Coolest part is learning Layne's vocals were self-harmonized (with his own voice)--and then during the screamy chorus part with the guitar. It's absolutely how the song works--outside of Layne's voice and the great musicianship.

    Great thing about that Napslm Death video is not just that the song kicks ass but Barney comes away looking like David Byrne from the Once in a Lifetime video in some ways. Plus, great message as well.
