The new Killers album is cool. Nostalgic-sounding Springsteen-esque heartland rock with inspirational choruses and 80s synth sounds and jangly indie-rock guitars.

Being a 90's teen, I of course sat down to watch the Nirvana and Pearl Jam MTV Unplugged performances with my friends but honestly the performances were lost on me until I got older. These are 2 of the more underrated song performances from both Pearl Jam and Nirvana IMHO:

The Nirvana and Alice in Chains unplugged performances are especially haunting in hindsight to know where Kurt and Layne were at in their lives/addictions respectively.

Strangely enough this record despite the look of the cover art sounds like Radiohead and Tool. Pretty good.

Been listening to a lot of King Gizz lately.

Beato has a killer video about Paranoid Android worth a watch if you are into music theory and Radiohead. Oxford band, go figure.

This is my song. It's gotten me through a lot of shit. It kept me sober. A listen to this and I think I can take on the world. My dark times, I don't feel sad, I feel anger. This helps me center it and let it go. For me, anger centers me back to where I need to be, it sets my focus on my goals so I don't take my eyes off my goals. Just heard it out of the blue and kicked my ass again.

I'm trying to think if I got something like that. I know I must, somewhere.

For my dad while he was in the penn, it was Allman Brother's Blue Sky. A legit source of strength.
