With MJ it has always been a very difficult thing for me to really determine if he touched kids in anyway. I dont believe there has been any definitive proof of abuse (notice i say definitive). He did have some very unhealthy habits as an adult who allowed young kids to sleep in the same bed with him. But is that a sign of abuse or just trying to be a fatherly figure of some type? Futhermore, its been well documented that MJ faced a lot of pressure and abuse from his own father and i feel in a lot of ways he was forced to grow up to fast and never really enjoy his own childhood. I dont know if Neverland was supposed to be an extension of that so that other child starlets didnt have to endure what he did.
With all that out of the way yes i can enjoy a persons art even if the person has questionable character. While i wouldnt go out and listen to music that is downright racist i have listened to bands that have members with questionable characters in that realm and so as long as the music isnt a direct reflection of their beliefs than i can handle it. Luckily most of the bands and artists i listen to dont have those kinds of issues. With MJ i never really saw his music as a reflection of the controversy surrounding him but im sure it can and will be problematic for other people.
I'm spamming this thread. Sorry, but not.
One of the best songs ever made,
This one goes out to all you emo goths out there, and I think I know just you are
OK - I'm done.
For now!
I'll close by saying the music from the '80's is so superior to anything before or since.
IMO, of course.
Well - one more.
Now I'm REALLY done.
