    I saw these guys at a public festival in Cherry Creek a few years ago. They are really good live. Not my typical style of music, but something about their sound is really captivating to me;

    For some reason (ok, not that mysterious...an indie duet with a back and forth feel to it) that song reminds me of this one...

    the female vocalist is Mazzy Star for those who remember her...this song goes out to our resident steel guitar aficionado, Buff the Dobro Man.

    Seeing Dread listening to hipster music brings a tear to my eye. Next thing you know he'll be wearing skinny jeans.

    Skinny jeans? Not likely. My legs would look like a pair of sausages.

    My heart is still with 1969-74 Prog rock, but there is still great music being made, and I like to look for it and love finding it. I have no Cool creds at all, and at my age I don't care either, so all I have to worry about is whether or not I like something

    For all the down side of getting older, there are some serious upsides to it as well!
