Agree on the rock side. It's a fine line between rock and pop to me. I like Stevie's voice the best, it comes across on record the best.

I like Susanna Hoffs on the pop side. Lisa Gerrard is my all time fav in terms of emotional connection with a singer, of all of them.

For distinctive voice...does it have to be a classically appealing voice? Dudes like Lou Reed and Peter Murphy have a crazy unique voice. Tough one. I like Al Green as a safe pick. My Family Feud pick would be Robert Plant, but folks might say Dylan or Waits.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Everyone liked Hoff. Even Prince. And I super love me some Lisa Gerrard, back to my college dorm days when I was first introduced to DCD, as I'm sure we've discussed before. Her voice is haunting.

As far as distinctive goes, I'd say it means unique more than appealing. Joplin, Slick, Dylan, Waits, Petty. Someone who's instantly recognizable.

    Distinctive. Noticeable.

Started with Black Sabbath tonight, gravitated towards Zack Bryan, and as tends to happen I've landed on T-Swift to close the night out.

Does the Northman respect OKC metal-adjacent music?
