    I loved that album cover when I was nine or ten. The peril of the mountain road and the cliff. The hot ride next to the hot girl. The lightning reaching down. The majesty of those mountains. Being George Washington. Apocalypse and cool.

    RIP Neil Peart

    2112 is a great album. Rush was one of my favorites as a teen. Saw them live in like 2010 and it was a great show.

    Never got to see them but Moving Pictures is my favorite record but anything prior that is good too. Prog rock done right.

    Oh yeah I think I went to the Moving Pictures tour where hey replayed it in its entirety. That was a great experience.

    Luckily I have everything Rush has ever released on my iPod classic, and I have all the time in the world right now. I’m not a big fan of much past Moving Pictures though.

    I think it's 'Beyond the ...' which was released (popped up in my feed anyway, so same thing) on Netflix a couple of months ago. Which makes it nearly post-modern.

    Another one by Shane Macgowan. He is my personal favorite songwriter of all time. I heard an interview one time with a mutual friend of Bob Dylan and Shane Macgowan and he claimed that Bob called Shane the greatest living songwriter. I can't find evidence to back that up, but the guy seemed sincere.
