That's a great song. I owe it to myself to fully explore Wagner and Murder by Death.

MBD does a show at the Stanley every year right around New Year's. They encourage people to dress up and they recreate the photograph from the last scene of the shining after every show. My wife and I went the first two years. It is a ******* blast. I think they're closing in on year 10 now.

I don't know why I'm sharing this, but in 3d grade my best friend was black and his house smelled like jerry curl juice and fried chicken, yeah it did, and his older sister randomly slammed my head into a car window for no reason. Sudden, no provocation, and full of malice. I can't remember his name be we were best bros. But not after that.

It set back racial relations twenty years at least.

The weird thing is that she did it in a way that was so full of knowledge. About justice and the moment. No one was watching. Maybe she was just evil.

Let's coordinate, I'd be surprised if our wives didn't click. Who knows. I'm down...next year, this year we are in Houston.

The Murder by Death conversation with our friends came up because my son wants an electric cello for Christmas.
