So when I was diving back into Robert Johnson's music I read that he's the founding member of the 27 Club. Or, the club of musicians who died at age 27 while being very famous and talented. The bittersweet part of it is that Johnson's music is credited as being one of the backbones of Rock, so his influence of many of the musicians in the 'club' are pretty profound.

My macabre sense of interest set in and I made a playlist of the songs from those persons. I kinda want to do a review of each person in the club, and each song. Basically just what my impressions of them were before the delve, and what they are now, and what I like/dislike about them. We'll start it up.

Kurt Cobain/Nirvana - Lake of Fire, Smells like Teen Spirit, Lithium, and Heart Shaped Box.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

I listen to a lot of different stuff. Been on a country kick lately. Went to see Granger Smith last Friday night in Fredericksburg after an evening hunt. Honestly, that was the first country show that I went to since I saw Garth Brooks at America West Arena in Phoenix in 1993.

Oof, man. You wouldn't think it, but in NJ we have a LOT of country fans. Be they real rednecks in south jersey, fake rednecks in central, or pop country fans, they're EVERYWHERE. I can't get away from it. This dude Morgan Wallen has the most cringeworthy songs in the history of country music. Just look at this mother******.

This today's country. As a (admittedly not HUGE, just a plain old) fan of yesterday's country, just ******* kill me.
