I like SRV a lot lately, even more than than I already did.

    Alright, 60's.

    Yeah, White Album.

    How about that MO.

But only because of Long, Long, Long. Prolly everyone has a Long, Long, Long on the White Album, mine happened to be Long, Long, Long. A song that you have no reason to fall in love with, yet you do.

    Rocky raccoon

Camping in the north of Scotland sitting by a loch in an altered state of consciousness with some dude playing Rocky raccoon on acoustic guitar. For about five minutes... Life was perfectly complete!

I went to college 45 minutes from the Black Hills. It helped my appreciation of that song, for sure. I'm also positive that the Beatles probably never were in the Black Hills.

I'll play you Blackbird this Nov mate.

    True story.

I am probably married to my wife because of that song.

When I was getting into guitar, really getting into it and getting damned good, I was playing Blackbird for hours on end. I was trying to play the chorus sections with split fingering instead of bar fingering. In other words, I was trying to do some seriously awkward/fast fingering instead of just sliding an A-chord structure down the fretboard. Well, I kept at it well into the night. Next thing I know, I hear some stomping coming from the apartment above me. BAM! BAM! BAM!

Oh shit, someone is pissed about my guitar playing.

    Well **** them.

    Kept playing.

    BAM!!

    BAM!!

    BAM!!

Holy shit. Does this person have no soul?

    Fine.

I went outside and had a smoke. I smoked then. That was the year of the cigarettes. **** that year.

Anyway, that person stomping on the floor is now sleeping in my bed. Speaking of which, I should get to bed myself.

You shared it. That was pretty cool. I need to get back to playing more music. I actually just picked up the guitar between these posts here.

Leaving my hotel now and Bob Dylan masters of war just came on

I love this tune so much

Could have been written at or about any point in history of any culture. Love it.

I have a few Podcasts I listen to and I listen to them in order of oldest to newest, but I'm about four months behind.
