Oops, I missed the last bit of the Song of the Day Club.

Day 29 - Song that reminds you of your childhood. Elvira - Oak Ridge Boys. I remember when I was 4, 5, or 6, somewhere in that range, a step-cousin--is there such a thing?--was crazy about that song. I had forgotten about it, haven't heard it in forever, but for a brief time she was obsessed with it and I'd hear it a bunch. I wonder how her life turned out. My mom's second marriage didn't last that long. My speculation is that their family had a history of sexual abuse.

Day 30 - Song that reminds you of you. Tool - Lateralus. Perfectly apt 'song of hawg', musically and lyrically.

    Santana - Abraxas

Forgot how much my mom listened to this back when I was in love with my Little Professor and Tinsa Linhart down the street. I bet Tinsa became a wild child. Then again, it's hard to extrapolate from kindergarten.

Song 30 - Song that reminds you of yourself

Float On is probably the most apt here. But I used it already. So.

Before he went insane, Joe Budden was tremendous. Now he became what he hated. Cliche. Still happened.
